The 42'195 m certified length of the course are marked all the year by means of white indicators with the Zermatt Marathon logo. At race date, complementary signs (authorized or forbidden ways) are put in place. Race controller directions are to be observed imperatively

Every runner reaching out one of the control points out of the closing times will neither be ranked nor entitled to the Zermatt Marathon various utilities such as catering, sanitary points, prize, etc ... . A partial or entire reimbursement of the entry fee is rejected.
Pickup of Start documentation and bib number
The start documentation and bib number will be ready to pick up in St. Niklaus. The racing office in St. Niklaus (School house opposite the Church) will be open:
Thursday: 3pm– 7pm
Friday: 10am – 8pm
Saturday: 6.45am – 8.15 am
Luggage drop-off in St. Niklaus:
at the latest till 8.15 am in St. Niklaus near the starting area

As the finisher T-shirts are unisex, ladies need to order a size smaller. For example, those who normally wear size S, should for Zermatt Marathon, order a XS.
Awards
Each runner concluding the Zermatt Marathon within the time limit gets:
one functional »Finisher-Shirt«, one medal, one personal photo with the Mount Cervin in the back-ground (download), one natural prize for the three fastest runners of each category, the results on Internet, one certificate
Awards in hard cash
Same awards in hard cash and in Swiss francs (CHF) are allocated to the 15 fastest runners „Men“ and to the 10 fastest runners „Women“. No starting bonus.

Gornergrat-Sprint
In Zermatt at the station square the Gornergrat-Sprint ranking with a value of CHF 300 for the best woman and the best man (not the net time counts) takes place. The GGB Sprint ranking can be won by the first man and the first woman that pass the archway at the station square.
The right to win the Gornergrat-Sprint ranking has only who arrives at Riffelberg among the 10 best Overall men and the 8 best Overall women.
