The Zermatt Marathon will donate CHF 1.00 per finisher to Special Olympics Switzerland. The world’s largest sports movement for people with intellectual disabilities stands up for esteem, acceptance and equal rights for these athletes. The organization provides year-round competitions on a regional and national level, giving the athletes continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship. The Zermatt Marathon donation helps to realize a big dream of many athletes: the participation in the World Summer Games in Los Angeles, in July 2015. You too can support the Swiss delegation by making a donation to Special Olympics Switzerland with your registration.
